FRUIT LADEN TREES OF KASHMIR IN SEPTEMBER .

FRUIT LADEN TREES OF KASHMIR IN SEPTEMBER MONTH
Fruit laden Trees of Kashmir in september month are primarily APPLE, PEAR , QUINCE ( BamTsoonth in Kashmiri), and POMEGRANATE ( Anaar ). All these fruits are commercially grown in kashmir. I have also found some families growing Olive , Pecan Nuts ( a longer form of walnuts usually grown in Canada ) and Kiwi fruit trees in thier Garden . Garden cum mini orchard of Hotel GREEN ACRE in Raj bagh Srinagar (owned by Wazir Family from Jammu ) has a variety of fruit trees especially kiwi, Pecan nuts and olive, quince and pears .I am thankful to this family for allowing me to photograph some fruit trees from their mini garden cum orchard in Raj bagh srinagar . Some Photographs have been taken at Parihaaspora orchards while a couple of the photographs have been taken in Martand Sun temple complex orchard Enjoy the views for this post along with some lines from the poem Daffodils by william wordsworth.

I gazed -- and gazed -- but little thought
What wealth the show to me had brought:
For oft, when on my couch I lie
In vacant or in pensive mood,
They flash upon that inward eye
Which is the bliss of solitude;
And then my heart with pleasure fills,
And dances with the daffodils.( William Wordworth )
