Sometimes, Knowledge  takes away the smile that ignorance had granted to us. Knowledge has the tendency to create suspicion. And suspicion or doubt makes you to  think .. When you think , you naturally turn serious on issues.

Urdu Poet Raghupati Sahay Firaq Gorakhpuri too believes in this statement. I quote him.....

"Aaye thay  hanste khelte mai-khaane mein ‘Firaq’,
Jab pee chuke sharaab to sanjeeda ho gaye"
