   Run by Somaiya Agencies  Pvt Ltd, Kitab Khana is open on  all days from 10.30 AM to 8 PM .A visit to this shop is a treat. This shop is about 150 years old and located in the heart of Mumbai. Convenient to reach , The shop is  full of  contemporary and  old classics  in Hindi , English , Gujrati, Marathi  and Urdu .

A Restaurant is also located inside that serves you hot Coffee apart from other snacks  while you relax and  go  through  the pages of your New Book .

The owners , Amrita and Samir Somaiya  are committed to creating an environment for you that’ll enrich your reading experience.

Every time I am in Mumbai , I  make it a point to visit this shop.

And I fully agree with what poet Zubair Rizvi says in this couplet.....
