A DOHAA ( TWO LINE POEM ) ... CHILDREN ARE LIKE FRUITS IN THE MARKET .

CHILDREN ARE LIKE FRUITS IN THE MARKET. WHILE THE FRUITS MOVE TO MANDI / MARKET, THE TREE REMAINS LONELY WHERE IT WAS.

"पढ़ लिख कर बच्चे यहाँ घर जाते हैं छोड़,
फल मंडी में चला गया, पेड़ से रिश्ता तोड़।"

'Parr likh kar bache yahaan
Ghar jaate hain chhorr
Phal mandi mein chala gaya
Peid se rishta torr'..................................(Avtar Mota )

(Once they have learned their letters and their script,
The children leave their homes behind.
Like ripened fruit arriving in the market,
After severing its bond with the tree. )
( Avtar Mota )
