In the Middle of Man Sagar Lake lies this grand palace made of red sandstone, most of it submerged..

This lake that i had seen in 1982, 1991,1993 and 1998 had crystal clear water. The lake is gradually vanishing. Three or  Four drains are pouring filthy water round the clock in to the lake presently . This lake shall soon be like our Dal Lake in srinagar  .
