SPANISH EMPANADA IS LIKE INDIAN SAMOSA

EMPANADA IS LIKE INDIAN SAMOSA.

Saw Empanadas being sold inside a Park in Upper Manhattan  yesterday. I was told that it is mostly consumed in Latin American countries that include Argentina, Bolvia, Mexico , Chile, Brazill , Ecaudor and many more.

Immigrants from Latin American countries brought it to America. Believed to have traveled to Latin American countries during Spanish colonisation , Empanadas are vegetarian or Non-vegetarian. Mostly deep fried, some people like them grilled.

Chopped Green salad, basil leaves, Cheese , eggs,  lamb mutton , Beef ,Chicken pieces, onion, , Tomatoes, Jalapeno chilies, Cilantro, Mushrooms and many items are used as filling for the Empanada. It is eaten with sausages or ketchup.ingular in shape.

Indian samosa is deep fried and generally triangular in shape.

Indian Samosa is always  deep fried . It has mostly vegetarian filling. And many people believe that Samosa  is not Native to India They  believe that it has  traveled to India either from Central Asia or Middle East.
