On Top of the New ' One World Trade Centre 'or 'World Trade Centre' ..

To arrive at New One World Trade Centre or World Trade Centre site, you can travel by any Downtown Metro.
For those coming from midtown or Uptown, E 1,2,3 etc. are convenient Trains. You can catch any other Metro to get down at Chambers Street or Wall Street or Fulton Street and walk the distance . The top of the WTC is visible from any place and can easily guide you .
We traveled by no 2 metro . It is an express train .Getting down at Chambers Street. it is just a 5 minutes walk thereafter.
From the cave like basement of WTC, you are taken to 102nd floor by superfast lifts in just 47 seconds. There are two viewing towers or observatories. . The topmost and one below it. The topmost has a restaurant and a gift shop .Perfect 360 degree view of Manhattan, Queens , Staten island ,Brooklyn Bridge and prominent towers like Empire State Building, Chrysler Tower, Hudson river, East river etc. can be had from top but one tower. Simply thrilling. The views are better than what you see from top of Empire State Building or from top of Rockefeller centre. You feel on the top of the world and close to clouds.
We went up on a cloudy day with a little drizzle. We were at the top at 12.15 PM sharp. As per revised entry system, ticket generate your entry time .You need to be punctual. This is all computerized. Such tickets are known as skip the line entry.
From the top if this 1776 feet tall (540 metre ) skyscraper , you can have amazing views of the city and its surroundings below .
.As you come down, you are made to leave via the newly built white Oculus that looks like a Giant White bird. Oculus has so many shopping arcades and underground metro terminals. It is a white wonder created by human mind in collaboration with modern Technology.
