THE INTERACTION BETWEEN BLACK AND WHITE

                                                                            

                               

For a man in love, this day and night simply appear as an interplay between two colours; Black and white.

Yaan ke safed o siyaah mein hum-ko
Dakhal Jo hai so itnaa hai,
Raat ko ro ro subah kiyaa

My simple English rendering would be ...

In the interaction of black and white,
My intervention is just this much;
In tears, I drag the night to morning
And somehow, pull down this day to night..
