 M F Hussain was a regular visitor to kashmir till 1980. he would come for meeting friends or inspiring local Artist .He was seen walking bare feet at fashionable Residency Road or inside India Coffee House discussing some point with Bansi Parimu or Ali Mohd Lone  or any other  kashmiri writer / Artist .
