PATAA TOOTA DAAL SE LE
GAYEE PAWAN UDAAI
AB KE BICHADEY
KAB MILEIN
DOOR PADEINGAY JAAI
( The leaf fell from the branch and the wind carried it away .
Alas! Never shall these meet now for
the is destined to be dumped far off. )
The spring brought green leaves and birds to the chinar Tree . When autumn
visited , the leaves started shedding . The autumnal wind carried them away dumping them unattended waste . Behold ! Yesterday’s charm becoming today’s abandon .And finally no one knew where they had
disappeared till the new spring brought
another crop of these green leaves . . The journey from existence to extinction . Alas ! The leaves never knew when life convened
and when it disbanded.
Kab Mili thi kahaan Bichhadi thi hamein yaad nahin
Zindagi tujh ko to buss khwaab mein dekhaa hum ne
( When did life convene and where did it disband ?
Never could i I feel or remember this fact.
O life !, I met you in my dreams only . )
