The complex located on 34th Street and 8th avenue in Midtown  Manhattan is linked with so many great events one being Boxing fights of Cassius Clay or Muhammad Ali. His eight fights at this world famous Arena including his epic 1971 greatest fight ( that came t too be known as Fight of the century) against another legend Joe Frazier was witnessed live by thousands of Ali fans over here.
Ali won the 1971 fight to be crowned as the greatest fighter of all time. This arena or Madison Square Garden got linked with Legendary Ali since then. I am informed that Fans of Ali would throng nearby Hotel" Wyndham New Yorker " where the boxer always stayed. The Hotel as well as Madison Square Garden are located on 8th Avenue.

Over four million passionate sports and entertainment fans visit this place each year. "The World's Most Famous Arena" and The Theatre at Madison Square Garden occupy nearly 1,000,000 square feet in Toto. famous Ice Hockey team known as "New York Rangers" continue to play their major events over here.

Shortly named as MSG, Madison square Garden is a multipurpose Indoor arena in Manhattan New York. On September 2014, Prime Minister Modi also addressed perhaps the biggest ever gathering of Indians residing in America over here.
I am informed that Elvis Presley performed at this venue in 1972. And then Elton John and John Lennon performed together at this venue in 1974. At the old MSG Venue , in 1962, Marilyn Monroe sang" Happy Birth day President" .

Penn( Pennsylvania) station platforms are just below ( underground ) MSG. And Penn station is presently under extensive renovation.

In 1988, Michael Jackson performed his biggest ever event over here. Beatles too have performed at this venue.
