Teri Nadiyon se Amrit barastaa Rahe,
Teray kheton se miltaa Rahe Sab ko Ann
Tujh pe mushkil kabhi bhi na Aaye koyii
Teray baagon mein ho Rang o Boo ka chalan

Mausamon ki Mehar Har Gadi ho yahaan
Meharbaan ho Havaaon ka bhi Baankpan
Mast Lehron ka sangeet Bajtaa Rahe
Saahilon pe teray Chhan-Chhana-Chhan-Chhanan

Jhoomti Gaati khushiyaan Milein Har taraf
Teray Ghar hon ya Bazaar ya teray ban
Phool khiltay Rahein log miltay Rahein
Ho Mohabbat Murawat ka Har su chalan..

kaam Miltay Rahein Choolhe Jaltay Rahein
Har Taraf Noor hi Noor ilam aur Fun
khatam Nafrat adaavat ka ho silsila
Jo Sukhan ho to ho Pyaar ka hi Sukhan

Aey Himaala Teri Sarparasti Rahay
Ta Abad Hon Suhaagan ye Gang o jaman
Sookhi Dharti ko Pyaason Ko Miltaa rahay
Teri Jheelon ka Aur Aabshaaron Ka Dhan

May your rivers flow with nectar,
May your fields yield food for all.
May no hardship ever touch you,
May your gardens always be filled with color and fragrance.

May the seasons be kind,
May every moment here be blessed,
May the winds be gentle and sweet,
May the music of waves play on your shores,
Chhan-Chhana-Chhan-Chhanan (the sound of waves).
My country, may you flourish and live long
May happiness dance and sing everywhere,
In your homes, markets, or forests,
May flowers bloom, people meet with love and kindness,
May love and compassion flow everywhere.
My country, may you flourish and live long
May work be available, hearths burn bright,
May there be light everywhere, knowledge and art,
May the chain of hatred and enmity end,
May words spoken be only of love.
My country, may you flourish and live long
Oh Himalayas, may your protection last forever,
May Ganga and Yamuna remain blessed,
May thirsty lands and people always get water,
May your lakes and waterfalls be a treasure.
