NAVREH IN EXILE
"Aessi raev koll, booen ,naag ta parbat,
Saeki shaatan kar phael pamposh.
Draalav hyot mujji molla jaadaad,
Baskeen feraan khaana-badosh...
Sheenas tal fojmitch yemberzal,
Ath mosh navreh thaaluk bosh ....
Yeti kuss zaani zi kya guv navreh
Sonteiki vaavo hosha hosh..."

"We lost the brooks, the Chinar tree, fresh water springs and Hari Parbat ,
When have lotus flowers bloomed in deserts ?
After the brokers purchased their property for peanuts ,
Like nomads, the residents hop from city to city and place to place .
Look ! the narcissus flower has sprouted under snow now ,
It has forgotten its graceful place in the sacred Navreh Thaali?
O spring breeze! , move carefully ,
Now in this city, nobody knows what Navreh is ."
