A donkeys is used mostly to carry load. In India ,donkeys are used by washerman ( Dhobis) and earthen pot makers ( Kumhaars) . This animal is affectionate and friendly to other animals and human beings .Because of its gentle nature, a donkey is frequently used for riding.
A donkey eats less when compared with a horse. It needs lesser attention and caring .Accordingly, it remains economical and affordable to the common man. In society, people make fun of this creature believing it to be foolish and not sharp or intelligent as it allows its back to one and all to ride upon.
