POET FAROOQ NAZKI IS BETTER NOW. NEEDS REST AND MEDICINES..

                                                                                     

  
Eminent kashmiri  Poet Farooq Nazki  feels better now after the recent hospitalization at AIIMS New Delhi. Visited him on 12.02.2012 to know his welfare. Nazki sahib is fine but needs to take rest and medicines for some time more. As usual, especially in the company of his friends he feels cheerful and talks on various subjects under the sun. Poetry , Medicine , Politics came up for discussions . Nazki sahib remains an Excellent communicator . Bonus : Presence of Agha Ashraf Ali . Agha sahib also added brief and wonderful anecdotes . Manto , Brij Premi , Prem Nath Pardesi and Many other personalities came up for discussion.

“ Look Autar Ji , Brij Premi has done useful ,precise and serious work on Manto . I wish some one could translates his work to English for readers all over the world to know Manto and Brij Premi. ”

I take leave after a nice cup of tea served by Mrs Nazki . Nazki sahib gives an affectionate hug before I click his photograph . Wish him speedy recovery and his usual cheerfulness . To conclude I add a couplet of this poet ..

I too feel ashamed of your present plight ………..

“ Moolie Pyeth Zaamut ”.. A child born at the time of inauspicious Planetary arrangement was considered not good for the family or his parents . In kashmiri Pandit families ,Such a child was adopted by some close relative or acquaintance . Nazki sahib has skillfully used this concept in poetry.
