( Arjan Dev Majboor )

Just look at the fate lines in my hand ,
And let me know my fault Love !
Tell me why this pain and suffering !
Having preserved the Light for centuries ,
Why i myself am now being put in this darkness?

Aaesh Saaet Chhalnaai Paadh Kaashirye
Greeshminie vaariye vaatukh naa

Valla roodh jarriye kar Thahraav.

Kashmiris shall wash thy feet with their pent up tears ,
Shall you not visit their abodes in hot plains ?
This “Majboor ’’ too is waiting for you in his abode ,
Come rain ! Come from our valley ,
And Stay with us for some time.
