buu-e-gul Thaharee na bul-bul ki zabaan Thaharii hai

Aate Aate yuun hi dam bhar ko ruee hogee   bahaar 
jaate jaate yuun hi pal bhar ko Khizaan Thahari hai

Ham ne jo tarz-e-fugaan ki hai qafas mein ijaad 
"Faiz" gulshan mein vohee tarz-e-bayaan Thahari hai
