I have translated 25 Vaakhs of Lal Ded 25 Shrukhs of Nund Reshi for students of A College based in Calcutta with a special request to me to render them in simple understandable English . I shall keep posting these Vaakhs and shrukhs for friends as well. Now a Shrukh of Nund reshi.

Padmaanpore chey Lalley ,
Tammi galeiy Amrit Pivo.
Svaa Saenei Ti Avtaar Loley,
Tithuy Me Vurr Ditaa divo.

Our Lal Ded of Padmaan pora ( old name of Pampore town ),
She drank the Divine Amrit O Lord!
To all of us she was the most revered Avtaar ,
Grant me a similar boon lord ! I pray to thee.
PS
The Guru of lal Ded was Sidha Sri Kantha . Lal ded was senior to Nund Reshi . In this shrukh,Sheikh Ul Alaam or Sheikh Nur Ud Din or Nund reshi hails her as a great Mystic and saint of Kashmir . Sheikh ul Alaam also pays tributes to Sidha Sri kanth in another Shrukh.
