A VIEW OF MANASBAL LAKE OF KASHMIR

Dil Pe Hotee hai Jab Yaadon Ki Suneharee Baarish ,

Saare Beete Huve Lamhon ke kanwal Khilatey hain,
Phael Jaati hai Tere harf e wafaa ki khushboo,
Koi Kehtaa hai Magar Rooh Ki Gehraai Se,
“Shidate Tishanaa Lubee Bhi hai Tere Pyaar Ka Naam”

( Ali sardar Jafri )

When your golden memories visit me ,
They come like torrential rains .
Lotus flowers of the time spent with thee ,
Bloom once again over here .
My being goes fragrant
With your word of faithfulness ,
But somewhere within the depths of my heart a voice conveys
“This Intense thirst is another name of your love ”
