zindagi se uns hai,
husn se lagaav hai,
dhakanon me aaj bhi,
ishq ka Alaav hai.

Dil abhi bujhaa nahin

Rang bhar rahaa hoon mein,
Khaaka-e-hayaat me,
Aaj bhi hoon  munhamik,
fikr-e-kaainaat me.

Gham abhi lutaa nahin

harf-e-haq azeez hai,
zulm naagavaar hai,
ahd-e-nau se aaj bhi,
ahd ustavaar hai

Mein abhi Maraa nahin
( Sahir Ludhianavi )

Life ! I love thee .
Beauty! I seek thee .
This heart of mine ,
Throbs today as well with Love alone .

My Zest for life is unfinished as yet..

I paint this existence with colours.
Worried , I am equally for this world as well.

My sorrows have not been plundered yet .

Truth ! I keep thee close to my heart.
Repression , I abhor still.
Every new day is a better day for me .

Friends , I am not dead as yet.
